About Zena

Up for adoption. I rescued Zena from a kill shelter as a rescue/foster. Once she was healed of her wounds and spayed and had all her shots she would be up for adoption. That time has come. Here is a little back story. Zena was found in Fayette county, TN. There are no actual shelters only animal control with a 3 day holding period before the dogs get euthanized. She was found with severe burns on her back. The vet believed they are hot oil burns from the previous owner using that as flea and tick prevention (apparently that's a thing to use burnt oil that is cooled but it is believed this person didn't let it cool. That's just the vet's theory). Now let's get to the good stuff. Zena is believed to be 1.5-2 years old. She is a believed to be lab mix but she is small weighing in at only 28 pounds. She is spayed and up to date on all her shots. She is a spunky little ball of joy that also really enjoys cuddle time. She is house trained. She gets along with anything and everything. Good with all dogs, cats, kids, you name it. She loves to run and play. She is mostly off leash trained but could use a little work. She knows sit and stay quite well. She is a fabulous family dog.
