About Tootsie

Adoption Fee: $350
Siberian Husky mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop? Well, Tootsie isn't very good at counting, but she is really good at licking! Meet Tootsie, an approximately 1 year old, petite 30 pound husky mix with plenty of weight to gain. This sweet girl loves to play and snuggle. She is crate trained and has nearly mastered house training, and she gets along well with dogs of all sizes-she loves to play!! Tootsie has not yet been cat tested, but sh does have a prey drive though, so we recommend no cats, or cats that are used to playful pups. She has not heed kid tested yet either, but we think she'd do fine with kids that are used to puppy antics. Tootsie is a smart girl who picks up new commands quickly, and is very treat motivated, she even already knows a few basic commands. She is still working on some manners but she is easily redirected and will likely continue to learn her manners quickly. Tootsie would thrive with a family that is able to keep her mind and body appropriately stimulated so she can be her happiest self! Tootsie is spayed, UTD on vaccines and preventatives, and is currently fostered in Camp Hill, PA. Apply to meet this sweetie today! We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help.
