About Love

**URGENT - Immediate foster or adopter needed!!*** This sweet 'Love' found herself in an overcrowded NC shelter, through no fault of her own. Her owner surrendered her as euthanasia request for growling. Shelter staff found her to be shy, but overall friendly and warmed up quickly. Our rescue group saved her but, as with so many rescue groups scrambling to find fosters due to record numbers of owner surrenders, we have run out of fosters. The only way to save her life was to get her out and into a boarding facility, which we did. But to Love, boarding is just the same as a shelter. We agree and we need to get her in a loving home immediately. Love is a sweetheart, about 50lbs, less than 2 years old, still a baby!! She needs socialization and time to decompress. Update; Love was taken to a local vet for one of the vaccinations she needed. Our volunteer driver reported Love loved riding in the car, shotgun style! And she was very friendly to the people she met, and she greeted all the dogs coming in and out very nicely, a right little hostess in the making!! Love really seems to have an easy going, fun temperament. She deserves to be in a loving home ASAP!! Love will be fully vaccinated and spayed before going to an adopter. Our rescue provides medical care to dogs in our program but we do need fosters who can provide food and basic supplies. So, if you or someone you know are interested in adopting Love.
