About Delaney

Delaney is 7 pounds, very thin by nature, and can be very spry. We do not know her breed, but we are assuming Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound. I took her in in March of 2023, and she was pretty feral. She was rescued from a hoarding situation, and she was very scared and nippy at the time. Today she is lively, happy, and loves to play with other dogs. She is potty trained. Delaney loves food and will take treats from your hand. The problem is I still can't touch her. She gets excited to see me and all, but we have not crossed the last hurdle. She may or may not ever fully come around, but we are optimistic. Delaney just needs a loving person willing to take her in and give her a chance. We are looking for a foster or adopter with a securely fenced yard. She is spayed, up-to-date, and microchipped. She does have luxating grade 3 patellas, but there has not been any issue in the 6 months we've had her. Her adoption fee is $150.
