About Nova

Nova was dropped off to us a few weeks ago after having been abandoned in a basement for several weeks after having puppies. She was a lot skinnier and scared when she arrived but is now thriving. She is a very sweet dog with lots of love to give. Although she is great with kids, my suggestion is that she is with someone that doesn't have children under the age of 5 as she doesn't know her own strength when she gets excited. I have 3 kids and she is great with my older 2 (8 and 12) but my youngest (2) gets knocked over easily or Nova will take food from him. Never in a mean way. She doesn't like cats or small dogs but got along really well with our pit bull lab mix. I believe she is about 5-6 years old if I had to guess. She sleeps most of the day and her energy is just enough for a quick play in the backyard or a walk. Her favorite thing to do is chew on a bone or eat. There isn't much she won't eat. She has a BIG bark but has never bitten any of us or even been mean aggressive. We just want her to go to a loving home where she feels safe.
