All dogs are located in foster homes southeast Arizona between Benson and Willcox just south of Interstate 10. [email protected], 602-316-8919 (no texts please) BUTTERNUT is a beautiful, sweet and a bit shy Border Collie mix that was picked up as a stray by animal control. It appears that Butternut just had had puppies. We do not have any previous history since she was a stray, therefore we do not know about the status of the puppies. Her teats will shrink now that she is spayed although it may take a few months. Butternut is 5 years old; she weighs approximately 53 pounds. Butternut is a great dog for hiking, biking or even walking around the block! Her most favorite activity is to snuggle with her human family. Butternut is well house trained; knows how to use the dog door and she has been an absolute angel in her foster home. She gets along with other dogs, but she loves people the best!
