All dogs are located in foster homes southeast Arizona between Benson and Willcox just south of Interstate 10. Since I do not know anything about Akita's, I did not know that she is most likely a purebred Akita and she gets along with other dogs! YEA APARTMENT DOG PROSPECT!!!! Pepper should easily be an apartment dog. She is happy to watch Animal Planet while her family is away at school or work. She is NOT high energy. Pepper was picked up as a stray by animal control. This beautiful 9-year-old Akita did not belong in a shelter. When Fedwell Farm heard about this sweet girl, we were happy to bring her into to her foster home. Pepper has been an absolute angel. She has nice house manners; she is dog door trained. Pepper gets along with other dogs; she basically ignores them. It appears that Pepper had been groomed in her previous life as she was not scared during her beauty treatment. She walked in willingly to the groomers tub Pepper weighs approximately 70 pounds.
