This litter is dubbed the Armadillo Road litter, which is the road they were born on with their mom. Their mom was owned by not so good people who didn't feed or care that she had litter after litter. They didn't care what happened to the mom or the babies. We were called by a concerned neighbor when the temperature climbed well into the 100s - it was just too hot for mom to nurse and maintain sanity. She was frantic and trying to constantly move the babies...sometimes only moving half and leaving others behind. Because of this the babies were very dehydrated and sick from worms. We decided the best thing to do as to take the babies (4 weeks old) get them safe and let mom stay with the neighbors who feed her to dry up so she could get spayed. She was spayed in July and no more babies for that girl, and now her babies are ready to find a new home. Mom was a lab mix and we presume one of the dads was possibly a chih mix as these pups are pretty small for moms size. No matter what they are they are adorable and sweet as pie. They all share food together without fussing and are super social and happy with dogs and people. If you think these babies would be a good addition to your family please fill out the application at https://shorturl.at/syCM3 to get started. They will be chipped, current on vaccinations and dewormed. You will be responsible for spay and/or Neuter at 6 to 10 months of age. They are too young at this time.
