About Lunas

Lunas is a 6-year-old border collie-heeler mix with a big personality. She has a great sense of humor, she's incredibly intelligent, and she is fast. She is crate-trained and prefers to sleep in it at night, she knows how to sit, lay down, roll over, shake, high five, and sit on her back haunches, she loves to test the limits of how high she can jump on logs and boulders, but only when she's asked. Lunas is house-trained and is not destructive. she is very food and attention-motivated and will do anything to please her people. She is 38 pounds, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. Lunas is reactive on leash, but has had training with a dog behaviorist and tactics can be shared for walks to be fun. Lunas has been in a home with a cat but would prefer to be the only dog unless you have extensive experience with herding breeds. Lunas is great in the car, loves road trips, and has even gone backpacking and slept in tents! She has a custom Groundbird Gear harness and backpack for just this reason. We are heartbroken to find Lunas a new home, she hasn't adjusted to life with our baby and we want her to live the life she deserves.
