About Sophia

Hi, I'm Sophia, a 4-year-old Boxer mix with a gorgeous tan coat and a sweet personality. I'm super sweet and a little skittish. I'm spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm looking for my forever home where I can be loved and pampered. I was rescued from Lee County Animal Shelter and am now in boarding waiting for a family of my own. I'm crate and house trained and great with people and kids. I would do best with older children over 10 who have dog-manners and will not climb, push or pull on me. I'm super loving and enjoy giving kisses and cuddles. I am treat-motivated and take them gently. I like to go on car rides and relax with my humans. I would do best in a home with a fenced yard where I can play. I am a beautiful dog made of pure muscle. I am super strong and tend to pull on leash when I am excited but will calm with training direction. I am good with calm submissive dogs like the senior dogs in my former foster home. A slow introduction to any dogs already in the home will be required. I have not been cat tested but can be if you'd like. I'm looking for a forever home full of fun play times and love.
