About Bear

Bear comes all the way from Azerbaijan (former Soviet Republic) Bear -4 1/2 years old - is a magnificent Malamute (with a bit of Husky hence the blue eyes), with all the classic traits; acute intelligence, strong, curious, athletic, can pull a sled or cart judging from his innate strength. And he sings. Super responsive and trainable; treat motivated. His foster thought her own hound mix was smart and learned quickly. Bear learns twice as fast. Bear is enjoying being in the United States after the boredom and sameness of the shelter. He is very responsive on the leash, and will take his cue from you. If his human starts to run, he'll respond by a gentle gallop, and will slow down if you do. Despite his strength, he does not pull and strain on the leash. Bear is a confident guy. Not neurotic. He'll need an active lifestyle where he can go on walks, not just be let out in the backyard. He seems like he will enjoy a dog park or trail from time to time where he can gallop to his heart's content. (though he has not been to a dog park since he is just 6 days in the US) He can live in apartment or preferably a house with a yard or nearby places to walk and run. This is a very special once in a lifetime type of dog and we are looking for a special family/person for him. All Good World dogs are up to date on vaccinations and are spayed/neutered.
