About Jax

Are you looking for a TV partner or best friend? Jax loves people and other dogs. He would do best in a home with older, considerate kids (ages 12 and up). He enjoys daily walks and playing with his Kong toys. Jax loves hard and is a big cuddle bug. He enjoys taking naps on the couch and loves to sit on your lap, (he thinks he is a lap dog). He is crate and house trained and does well on a schedule. He loves treats and takes them very gently from your hand. Jax was surrendered with a pretty significant injury on his paw. The pad of this foot was pretty much missing. His foot and leg were riddled with metal (both pellets, BB's). The vet removed a bone fragment as it was causing healing issues with the foot. He has completely healed from his injuries. Jax has a missing toe but that doesn't affect him. He has improved tremendously. He's walking, running, and even jumping! His paw is doing great and has healed nicely. Upon approval to adopt, you will be sent SSRR Decompression and Introduction requirements that we require ALL of our adopters to follow . You will be asked to acknowledge receipt of these requirements, verify that you have read them and that you will follow them.
