About Kimba

ADOPTION PENDING. Help us welcome Kimba, a 2.5 year old, 25lb cocker spaniel mix girl. She is an ace snuggler and falls in love with everyone who gives her attention. Kimba gets along well with dogs and pays no attention to cats from what we've seen. We think she would make a great family pup and faithful companion. Kimba may be part Sheltie as she likes to herd things and her coat is sheltie-like silky- she LOVES to be bathed and brushed so grooming will be a breeze. She is a young and active pup who loves to go on walks or play in the yard and hunt for frogs and toads (she should always be under the watchful eye of her humans in the yard). She is very good on a leash but the walks are to be limited while she is undergoing heartworm treatment. We expect her to make a full recovery and have zero complications since she is an otherwise perfectly healthy pup. Kimba is learning to play with toys and enjoys her nylabone- that is now her favorite ��%BD����%BD. Kimba is crate-trained and will sometimes go in to take a nap. She loves to go on adventures and enjoys driving the car with her humans - in your lap - so she should be crated or held by another human for her safety. LOL This little nugget is a character and likes to play with shoes and socks ---she will take them when you are not looking and hide them LOL--perhaps she just wants to play hide and seek or a good game of scavenger hunt ( she doesn't chew them, she ust moves them) - regardless she will keep you amused all day long if you let her.
