About Azalea

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Papillion, NE Meet Azalea! She is a 8 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 35 lbs. She is spayed but isn't up to date on shots (except for rabies) or on heartworm prevention. Azalea is great with dogs (but will resource guard her toys) and older children! She hasn't been tested around cats. No small children due to her reactivity! Azalea has a bite history. She bit the owner's husband when he corrected her for going to the bathroom in their house. She bit the owner's foot when she was blocking Azalea from her young son, who was laying on the floor. She has bitten her son on the face while he was crawling towards her to hug her. She also bit the owner's niece while she was playing in their basement. She doesn't give a warning before she bites. The owner is surrendering her because they have another young child and because of her multiple bite history. She needs to go by 10/31! If you think you can provide a great home for Azalea, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Azalea.
