Jemma is a very smart and energetic Mini Aussie/Blue Heeler mix. She is deaf, but knows basic sign language, and always wants to be at your side. Her favorite game is fetch, which she can play for hours, given the chance. She always brings the ball back, and waits for the next throw. She takes a few minutes to warm up to her humans, but she's your best friend/right hand gal in no time! She has lived in a household with a submissive male dog for 5 years, and has successfully had positive interactions with other submissive dogs. Given her being deaf, she often sounds more aggressive than her situation calls for, so it takes a patient and loving home to help her acclimate to her surroundings. No young children in the home will be considered, as they move unpredictably. However, would be a great dog for teaching older kids how to act around sensory impaired animals.
