I recently experienced a catastrophic house fire about two months ago. We are all thankfully ok, but our world is upside down. I have two young children and two large dogs. The rental home I was able to get is not suitable for dogs. I have family that can take one dog, but Faith's aggression towards other animals has caused issues trying make our current living situation work. I am absolutely heart broken and overwhelmed, but need to make the best decisions for everyone at this time. I am currently boarding Faith at the vet while I work on a better long term solution. I had rescued her from a side of the road dump off when she was about 1 years old, she is now 12. Faith is great with people, including children. She is a wonderful guard and very low energy. She does not like to be alone. She tolerates puppies and I'm told does well with other large dogs (not when I'm around, she guards then). I'm very low on options and I understand her needs and age means this will be a difficult situation to find. I hope it is out there.
