About Bella

My in-laws are downsizing and moving into a place in Sept that won't allow dogs and they need to find a home for their beautiful black lab, Bella. She is in good health other than some arthritis in her hips. She needs a home without steps if at all possible. She is crate trained but she isn't crated. She gets along with our 3 dogs with no problem. My husband and I have 3 dogs already and we have been taking care of Bella for the past month. It is just too much for us with 4 dogs in our home. We would take her if possible. Bella was a breeding dog not a pet for the first 6 years and then my in-laws adopted her from the breeder when she was retired. She didn't have a lot of love the first 6 years so she is very affectionate and loves to be right next to her owner. She is a momma dog and likes to randomly lick to show her love. She does have a few fatty cysts on her back but the vet says they are benign and fatty pockets. She is super sweet and wants love. She is completely house broken. We are located in Charleston SC. My father-in-law is so upset that he has to do this but Bella is a trip hazard and the new place won't accept her.
