About Forrest

Forrest is purebred Australian Cattle Dog from breeders. Because of a small jawline issue he came out of league to compete in shows. However, he joined our family with no such duties since we are related to the breeders and wanted to provide him a good home. Forrest is a very high energy dog and despite our research and known characteristics of such breed we took on the challenge. Our family has grown since then and we've had, unfortunately, one too many small injuries to our small children. Our workload and lifeload has greatened and Forrest is truly, I feel, suffering in our home because as much as we try his needs are not being met. He is a wonderful dog. Curious, playful, LOVING, extremely intelligent and genuinely good natured when he's at home and with his people. He loves our family and I do fear will be lost without us, but we need to find him a new caretaker that can handle a life more built to his needs. We want what's best for him. Ideally, Forrest would thrive on a large runnable property or small farm. Please research this breed if unaware of their needs.
