About Dex

Hey there pal! Meet Dex (aka Dexter, Dexie, Prancy-Pants, and Wiggle Butt). Dex is suuuuuuch a good boy! He is the friendliest little guy you will EVER meet. He wants to say hi to ALL THE PEOPLE, plus dogs, cats, squirrels, birds ... you get the picture. He is playful, energetic, and cuddly. He loves chasing/fetching a ball, walking through the neighborhood, and snuggling on your lap or next to you. He also likes giving lots of kisses and greets his humans with excitement. He is house trained and crate trained (with the exception of an anxious licking of his crate), and has had very few accidents in the house. He is healthy, exuberant, and super sweet. Like any dog, Dex needs proper introductions to other animals, especially since he does not have any in his foster home. Dex has been around quite a few kiddos and does great with them, but Dex is occasionally unsure of men. He will happily greet and spend time with men, but if he feels backed into a corner or is left one-on-one with a man, he may become timid or scared. With time, patience, and gentleness Dex should warm up and feel comfortable with a man. He otherwise attaches to people very easily.
