Hula is such a lovable girl who adores the company of her people. She can be a little shy at her first meeting, but when she warms up to you, she is all love. She gives delicate kisses and is not overbearing with her affection. In a previous home she lived with a 9-year-old and has shown positive and heartwarming interactions with kids. She loves her people so deeply that she never wants to lose them. Hula would be best living with someone who has a flexible schedule or works primarily from home that can work with her on her challenges being left home alone. We have been helping her work on feeling comfortable in a crate, and this is something we would encourage her adopters to continue. A canine companion could help too, but we haven't been able to test this out. Hula is 5 years old and weighs 60lbs.
