Rosie was rescued from a San Antonio Freeway as a puppy in October 2022. We took her into our home and it was love at first sight. Rosie is not well socialized and is aggressive to strangers especially big men. She may have be partially blind and so is afraid of shadow people. Plays well with big dogs at dog park but not little dogs. She is aggressive with everyone and every dog she meets when on the leash and she has never been around children. We have indoor cats and they now play with her in their way. She chases out door cats from the yard. She is a herding dog and will nip cat heels although she has stopped nipping people heals. She is crate trained, knows basic commands and has recall in the house, but not necessarily outside. She is actually very sweet with her family and ready to learn. She would probably do well with a dog companion to show her the way. We are looking for an open adoption and will not turn her into a shelter. She will come with all her current toys, bed, wormer/flea pills in stock, and the bath matt she has had since her initial rescue.
