About Maple

Meet Maple!! Yep, she really is as sweet as maple syrup! Maple is an approximately 6 month old Great Dane. She's your typical puppy with puppy energy. She knows Sit, Place (that's her crate where she also eats breakfast and dinner), wait,�%A0off, shake, and drop it.�%A0working on touch. Maple is good on a leash, but still pulls a bit. �%A0She can be a little mouthy at times. In the literal and figurative sense of the word. If she feels you are not getting her food ready fast enough, she will definitely let you know, and like a toddler, she puts EVERYTHING in her mouth. Maple is good with other dogs�%A0 cats�%A0unknown but since she's a puppy, a dog savvy cat should be ok �%A0she ignores the neighbor's chickens�%A0 kids 8+ yrs up unless they have recently lived with a giant breed dog She loves to ride in the car and jumps right in. She's housebroken and crate trained. She needs a PHYSICALLY fenced yard. Did I mention how SMART she is?�%A0 She learns new things very quickly. She is treat motivated -Ice is a favorite----. She knows the sound of the ice coming out of the fridge and will come running to get a piece from you. She is currently in a foster home in the Chattanooga TN area. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up.
