About Daisy

Daisy is an approx 2 year old, 22lb dachshund mix (maybe with Beagle but we're not exactly sure). She is dog and respectful older kid (10+) friendly, untested with cats. She is potty trained and will use a doggy door or cue by sitting near the door. Daisy will need some quiet time and space when settling into her new home but given that time and space, she will blossom into her truly playful self. She loves playing with and chewing on doggy toys. She loves chasing her doggy siblings around the yard. She's still nervous when the leash and harness come out, but once the walk is underway she starts to relax. She'd do best in a home with a yard or someone patient and experienced teaching positive leash walking. She sleeps in the big bed at night and usually sleeps through the night. She would do best with a canine sibling about her age and size to run around with.
