About Jerry

*Courtesy post Jerry is an 18 month old, 75 pound Bull Terrier mix who came to us when his owners did not come to claim him from the county shelter and he was in danger of being euthanized, so we had to save him. He is currently in a boarding facility and could really use a foster OR preferably an adopter! He's a BIG, playful, happy boy. Jerry will need an adopter who will give him regular exercise, discipline, obedience training, and lots of love! He's a good boy who did not get enough socialization and guidance as a young pup but he listens well, has an even temperament, and learns quickly.He is smart. He knows sit and down, loves to play in the water, crate and housetrained, rides well in the car. He would love a big yard to run and play in. With proper introductions, he will do okay with other well-balanced dogs especially his size or slightly smaller, but will also do fine as an only dog where he can get all of the attention! We do not know his history, so don't know how he is with children but because of his size, any children in the home would need to be at least 12-14 years of age and have had experience with large dogs. Jerry is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.
