We adopted Rory from the shelter in May, immediately drawn to her sweet face. We saw that she was a social, smart dog, and she was the only pup that didn't jump all over us! But since bringing her home we have realized, very regrettably, that this is just the wrong time for us to have her. She is very smart, generally pretty easygoing, great on a leash, sassy, & social. There are so many reasons why we have truly come to care about her. Her most challenging behaviors are her habit of nipping for attention and play, and a very stubborn will! We know these are behaviors that will resolve with time and working with her, but we have a four-year-old, and it has been a frustrating situation. If it was just my husband and me it would be manageable but it's just too hard & unpredictable with a young child! We hope she finds someone who can invest a little more time and energy into this goofy girl.
