About Rosie

Rosie is 8. We adopted her as a 9-mo. old puppy from the Washington Animal Rescue League in December 2015. She is a great dog, very playful, loves attention and fetch and snuggles, just loves people. She was very happy moving to a house with a big yard where she could run and play, but it made her more territorial toward other dogs. Not all, but any she felt were threatening to her space. Then we had a baby. At first it was fine, Rosie liked sniffing around him, but after he started walking and invading her space, she snipped a couple times. He didn't have any serious injury and we didn't fault her for feeling trapped and vulnerable, but we decided they had to be permanently separated. Now we've had another baby and are moving to a house where it will be very hard to keep them separated and still give Rosie a good life. She needs a home where she can be the happy girl we know and love. Even if someone is able to take her temporarily that would help. We have an appointment for December 18, 2023 to surrender her to the Humane Rescue Alliance, but we need a home for her now because we can't take her to our new house.
