About MR. V

This classic blue boy is Mr. V. He is a 1.5 years old male Australian Cattledog with a double mask and a fantastic raccoon tail. Mr. V weighs about 35-40 pounds. V knows his basics: sit, down, off, no, potty on command, and go lay down to go into his crate. He is crate trained and almost done with his house training. His new home will just need to reinforce the rules. V is a shy guy. He starts timid but warms up and wants to be loving with his people. Because he is shy, we think a home without kids is best. Mr. V is good with other dogs and lives with another Cattledog. His new home should have another dog to be his pal, and he does like to play with his dog pals. Mr. V is also good with dog savvy cats who know not to run. For that kind of cat, Mr. V wants to try to play. The cats in his foster aren't amused. V also loves his toys, especially chew toys. Plus, he thinks that bubbles are fun. Yes, bubbles! Click on the red YouTube button to watch him play with bubbles. V has started to realize how fun it is to fetch. He has learned to bring the ball back and drop it when you say out. V is good on leash and good in the car. He would be a nice boy for adventures out in nature, like hiking and camping. Due to his timid nature, he is not the kind of dog who will love visiting brew pubs, dog parks, or be in a busy neighborhood. This boy is a total gem. He has a sweeter than usual temperament for the breed and loves to cuddle with his people on the couch. He is silly and soft and even gives love nibbles on your hand. That said, he still has all of the great energy of the breed and needs someone who will keep him busy with fun activities. Mr. V is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
