My name is Boomer and I'm about a year old. I've been with my temp Fo-Mo (foster Mom) for a few weeks, which has been ah-maze-balls!! But before living in the lap of luxury, I was chained to a tree in a vacant lot. I was so sad and cried all night until my fairy Godmother found me and gave me pets and food and water until someone could cut me loose. Sadly, that person was animal control. They aren't joking about the 'control' part!! They told me they were taking me somewhere safe and I was pretty stoked...PAR-TAY! I was wrong- it was sheer insanity...so much crying! Hey- I couldn't help it, I was hecka scared and didn't like being caged up let along caged up with other pups I don't even know! Fo-Mo finally sprung me from that joint and I stood up the whole ride home with a two foot section of that chain dangling from my neck like a badge of honor. I made it! That experience has made me a bit fearful of other dogs. Fo-Mo says we have worked a lot of that out but her motto is 'slow and steady' so I still have a bit to go. The good news is, after sharing a house with my doggy Fo-Sis, we met face to face after 4 days and it was uneventful. We get along fine- mostly leaving each other alone. She is older and more 'mature'. Whatever. I have many positive attributes you may find interesting: I'm seriously good lookin', I've got a 1000 watt smile that will brighten your darkest day, I love the outdoors and nature, but I also love cuddling on the couch or porch-sitting as we watch the world go by. I'm very good at communicating (chicks dig that), I'm modest (prefer to poop in the bushes, not out in the open like an uncivilized hound) I'm a good eater and my life's goal is to make people happy. Did I mention yet about my chiseled good looks?? My Fo-Mo says I'm extra special cuz I've got Heterochromia. I don't know what that is, but she says it makes me even MORE handsome. As if! You can't beat perfection! Oh yeah- and I have one really pretty baby blue eye and one hazel eye- cool, right!?! I'm ready to be your Bestie for the Restie- come and get me so we can start the rest of our lives NOW!! Please don't let me end up back at the shelter... I just found out that a lot of the other pups that were there have since been euthanized.... I want to live! So, if you or someone you know are interested in adopting Boom Boom. Please contact KENNEDY by email or text at (802)673-9026. NOTE: Boom Boom is currently in a foster in the South. Transport will be scheduled for him to be brought to the Northeastern states for serious adopters only.
