About Raven

Raven is just beautiful inside & out. If I had to describe her in 1 word it would be AGREEABLE. She's one of the best-behaved dogs we've ever had here. Raven is about 6 years old & 80 pounds. She's a Lab/Pit mix who has a bit of a dominant personality and a very playful nature, as long as the other dogs let her be the boss. She's great with little dogs and with cats and has even protected our cat from a neighborhood stray, but bigger dogs who challenge her won't work. She's been here almost 2 years and has never made a mess indoors or chewed anything up. Even while recovering from FOUR orthopedic surgeries to her back left leg, she's never had an accident inside and she's never been anything but agreeable and loving. Raven is just a really good-natured dog. She LOVES children and is an excellent babysitter. She's good in the car, friendly to strangers, and very quiet. Raven is HW neg and is a very healthy girl but she does have a skin condition that is very easy and inexpensive to manage. Raven has had a ton of physical therapy. She loves the dog walker who brings her grandchildren to love on her. She has NO limitations, can easily walk a couple of miles a day, does stairs, runs, and plays happily. She just needs someone who doesn't have big dominant dogs to open their heart to her. She is super gentle with smaller animals, almost mom-like in the way she looks after them. She has been with us since 11/3/21 and just deserves more. She deserves her own family where she'll be allowed on the couch for cuddles.
