About Ollie

Ollie is really a sweet boy. He's playful and loves toys especially ropes! And plays tug of war with us. He loves sleeping and is pretty calm in the house. He does tend to bark if there is a dog walking by outside making him a great guard dog! His bark is definitely loud, but he doesn't bark unless there's a reason to. And hes never been mean to my kids or myself. He will bark if a new person comes in the house, but is just excited and wont bite. Although if someone threatened him or us he probably would! He is good to our other dog, but full disclosure,he is a little food aggressive, and she has learned to walk away from him. But he will not bite a human giving him treats. And I've petted him while he's eating and he is ok with that. The reason I'm trying to rehome him is he's broken our fence a few times and when he does he gets out of the yard. And attacked some dogs. And has bitten and I've had a misdemeanor against me. So both of my dogs are inside all day because they can't go In the doggy area. Since the fence is broken. So in reality ollie doesn't really have a good quality of life and that's not fair. He would be awesome with a male companion who has a good strong fence. My son is the only one who can walk him so unfortunately he's walked once a day,because my son is in school and works. I want ollie in a good home. I do love him, but I feel he'd have a better quality of life with someone else. I've never thought about rehoming a pet, but I don't have the amount of money to get him training and I honestly can't keep unless I do because he's to much for our yard at the moment.
