About Piper *Blind*

After being found wandering with her pups, this beautiful momma is safe in a foster home while she waits for a loving family to choose her! Piper is blind, but she is still outgoing, and fearless. She is sweet, smart and an overall fantastic girl! She learns her surroundings quickly and with boundaries can navigate her world with confidence. Piper LOVES water, she will walk in the shower if you let her. She is great with other dogs, children and cats. She does well with eating with other dogs, and is outgoing despite her vision. Piper does bump into other dogs often, so if she goes to a family with other dogs, they will need to be tolerant of that. She is not fond of a crate, her first night in her foster home she slept on a dog bed with other dogs on the foster's bed. She likes to follow their 5-year-old son around the yard. Piper is a fantastic girl, she adjusts to new situations with grace and would love to find a family that will bring her into their home and give her the love she so much deserves. Piper is estimated to be 3-years-old, she has tested negative for heartworms, she is current on vaccinations and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, spayed & microchipped. For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. Mississippi is overpopulated too many animals, not enough homes, and many high kill shelters. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA/Breed test. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible*** For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states with better adoption potential.
