About Connor

CONNOR is a lovable, cuddly 2 year old Border Collie looking for a family to include him in their lives. Medium energy level boy who would be a great walking, hiking companion and curl up by your feet while you work. Affectionate guy who loves to be pet, snuggle and be with his people, wherever they are working or hanging out. Dog friendly with both male and female dogs, just not a fan of annoying dogs in his face. Playful with people and dogs, but also knows how to relax and chill. Can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but treats win him over quickly. House trained. Crate trained. Has not shown any destructive behavior inside or outside. Walks well on leash, using a harness. Likes to chew on dog bones, play fetch and go for walks, sniffing and exploring. Sleeps through the night on his own bed. Not a big barker. Rides well in the car. Smart, treat motivated boy has learned some basic commands already. Child friendly. We are recommending children over 10 because he hasn't been around younger children often. Has not been cat tested, so will not be adopted to a home with cats. Only homes with a fenced yard will be considered for this boy. He has a beautiful soft, fluffy coat that we had to have groomed, because he came into our rescue matted, but it will grow back if you let it. Connor is 44 lbs. neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention.
