About Riesling

Riesling is a curious, playful, & sweet girl. She is a little shy on initial meeting, but she warms up quickly. She found herself wondering with her sister and blind mom, looking for help. We are working with the foster to get more photos of her, she LOVES to play in water and spends her days playing with her sister. She is currently estimated to be 17 weeks old and weighs 27 lbs. She has a little fur missing which is likely from rough play or traveling through the woods. She is on the mend and it will grow back. For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. Mississippi is overpopulated too many animals, not enough homes, and many high kill shelters. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA/Breed test. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible*** For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states with better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Each adopted pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and has current flea treatment unless otherwise noted.
