About Woodchip

FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED ASAP ! We have a special boy to highlight tonight.�٪%8F This is Woodchip, and he is being returned to our care. When we rescued Woodchip over 2 years ago, he was just a tiny puppy found as a stray with wounds on his back and ears and an ithcy skin infection. He has been in a home for the last two years, but that is all changing, this poor guy. A few months ago, his adopters reached out about returning Woodchip. After the family moved to a new home, Woodchip and one of the younger dogs began having issues. He has been fine with the older female dog in the home. With the crisis we are facing in the rescue community which is so heartbreaking we have been unable to secure Woodchip a new, happy home, and by Saturday, Woodchip is losing his current home permanentl and he has no idea it's coming being abandoned once is tragic enough to these poor babies but having it done over and over they start to lose hope. Shelters are at capacity with so many being dumped, abused, or just plain thrown away. Woodchip is a good boy. Just because he does not fit into one family's dynamic does not mean he won't thrive elsewhere. He knows all of his basic commands like sit, paw, up, lay down, and off. He is house-trained and has been around humans of all ages and sizes and loves them all. He prefers the company of female dogs to male dogs, but he would also thrive as a solo pet. Woodchip is a good boy. And he is available for immediate foster or adoption. Please, help us give him a new fresh start.
