About stygian

my name is maxx and i currently work at a rescue who capacity is overwhelmed. this young man was actually a puppy when he came to us with his four siblings they where all adopted even him at one point. but due to family problems they dumped him in a field. so i drove 45 minutes to get him from animal control our rescue was packed full then and is still pretty full so i took him in hoping i could help him. but his anxiety level and extremely high energy was more then i could handle. i'm man enough to admit i'm not the person to give him the best life. he can't spend time in my home alone so he's been coming to work and staying in my bosses office but has become rather destructive. i spend long hours walking and running him in hopes that will help as well as training but he's untrusting of everything around him due to him being left. it is unfair for him to not have someone who's so inexperienced in the aussie breed. though he's mixed with lab it's only obvious in his need to eat everything, his paws and his face. i do love him very much and it's because i love him i know it's best to let him be with someone who knows and understands his breed.
