Available for adoption in Joplin, MO - Hi everyone, my name is July and I am a gorgeous 3 year old deaf male mini blue merle Australian Shepherd. I found myself at a shelter when my human had to move into assisted living. I am neutered, current on immunizations and on preventatives. I am always excited to greet everyone I meet and will show you my wiggle butt. I am a total cuddle bug and love to be with my humans at all times. I am sweet and loveable. A real social butterfly. I also love squeeky toys! I get excited when I see a leash because I really enjoy my walks and I walk great on a leash without pulling. Since I am a social guy, I like to be included in the family outings but will settle for a car ride which I really enjoy. I am curious about cats but do not bother them as long as they are friendly. Since I can't hear I prefer smaller dogs over larger ones because they don't move as fast and step on me but I do get along with all dogs as long as they are friendly. And don't worry about me being deaf, it does not slow me down one bit! Because I am deaf, I definitely need a fenced in yard.
