About MARLEY

***NEEDS FOSTER or FOREVER HOME*** Currently in Boise boarding kennels Meet MARLEY!!! She is about 1.5 years old, 45-pounds, and appears to be an Australian Shepard/Jack Russel Terrier blend. She is super sweet, smart and soft puppy who will be a great addition to almost any home. Like all puppies, she is still learning how to play with other dogs, but she is well-trained with her commands. She knows: sit, down, stay, touch (come) and working on stay and leave it. She is housetrained, crate-trained, and knows how to use a doggy door. In her foster homes, she has never shown any destructive behaviors, but will be bored easily if left alone for too long in her crate. Most of all, MARLEY loves her snuggles and cuddles. She is a big love bug and will do extremely well in a home that can offer affection and continuous training and exercise. MARLEY walks well on a leash, but approaching other dogs is very exciting for her. She is learning to be calm and collected to safely approach dogs. We have not tested her with young kids but MARLEY does well with kids over 10 and does not react when her tail, paws, teeth or face are being touched. She also has a gentle mouth. MARLEY is a friendly dog, but has shown to be dog-selective in her foster homes. A proper meet and greet/slow introduction with other dogs in the home will be required to set her up for success.
