About Bowie

Beautiful Bowie is a lovely young labsky (labrador retriever - husky mix) (3 years old) who is incredibly affectionate with humans- LOVES to give kisses and show his gratitude! Named after the late, great David Bowie for his gorgeous heterochromatic eyes and his rockstar personality, Bowie is the perfect loyal canine companion. He also enjoys the company of other dogs- large and small- and would excel in a home with some fur friends. He has done just fine with cats when supervised but he does have a husky prey drive so for that reason, its not recommended for Bowie to go to a home with feline residents. He's a very agile young man and can easily jump tall fences so for that reason, an ideal home for Bowie would be with and active person living in an apartment or possibly in a home where he's not left to roam alone in the great outdoors of your backyard. He's in an apartment right now and he's doing great! Bowie is on the higher side of a medium energy pup. He enjoys a long daily walk (I've been walking him about 2 miles) but he mostly lounges around the house and sleeps after he gets his walk on. He rarely barks. Bowie is polite and well-behaved. He's not destructive when left alone at home and is an all around pretty easy going type of guy. Perfect! Can you be Bowies family???
