About Peach

Peach is a sweet girl that unfortunately had a very traumatic experience. She is 8 and for 7 years with a previous owner was abused and used to breed. She is terrified of people and sudden noises. When I had adopted her, things were fine in my household. She had gotten along with my 2 year old male Shiba Inu. However she had an incident very early where she had an anxiety attack when she saw a lot of people in front of her so she felt cornered despite trying to move out the way. She got out of her harness and it took me 2 hours to get her back. Due to this incident she had relapsed and began to 'den' my male Shiba Inu. She had stopped coming out of her kennel and when she did it was to prevent my other Shiba from playing and to try and guide him to her kennel. This had started a few fights. They are now separated at all times unless I am in the room. She is not potty trained and does not know basic commands. I have been working with this however with her situation it has been a bit difficult to a point where she would only pee outside but refused to poop. So she would do it in her kennel. I have tried taking her on walks or waiting outside for her to do this however she refuses to do so.
