About Jupiter

Jupiter is an intelligent, sensitive, anxious, 5 year old neutered male who weighs 92 lbs. He loves to play with his toys and loves to cuddle and be petted. My daughter rescued him when he was 8 weeks old. He was hungry and scared. Jupiter livrd with me, my daughter, and 6 year old granddaughter, 2 rat terriers, 2 pitbulls, and 2 cats. He got along with everyone but the cats. My daughter had him until last May when she had to move to Arizona for her job. I kept Jupiter, as he was over the weight limit at her apartment. She took our 2 rescued pitbulls, who had grown up with Jupiter, but she could not take him. Now, due to a family situation, I need to move to Portland, Oregon to help raise my granddaughter and live with my other daughter. They have 2 cats, and Jupiter does not get along with cats. Jupiter needs someone who is strong enough to handle a big dog and who has the patience and knowledge to work with an anxious dog. He is very sweet and everyone falls in love with him. He will adjust quickly with proper handling. Although he gets along with children, I would not suggest small children because of his size. It breaks my heart to have to rehome him. He really is the sweetest boy and will be a devoted companion. He needs a fenced yard as exercise is important.
