About Rose

Rose and her sister Violet are littler mates. They were bottle fed from from 3 days old as their mom passed away. They are very people oriented especially women. They want to please their people. Their mom was full Great Dane the dad is believed to be a small Aussie (that's what was found in her pen when she was in heat). These babies have been living on a farm waiting on a family. They can not stay as there are already 7 dogs that live and work on the farm between 3 families. The weekend people that love them dearly can't take them because they already have 2 dogs. During the week they live outside and roam around. On the weekends they are worked with on house training, sitting, staying off the furniture, and inside manners. They love praise. If one gets praise the other will do what the same thing so they get praise too. When they see their weekend family they run to them and are excited to see them and they get sad when they start the leaving routine. They are very smart little girls, they look at you when you talk to them, and they learn quickly. We would love for them to be kept together but will separate them to get them forever homes. They love their toys and take care of them. They love to 'help' make the bed, fold clothes, and carry things you are carrying. They both love their belly's and chest rubbed. They are used to being around someone that uses a walker and wheelchair, other dogs from Great Danes to a little mixes, a cat, goats, cattle, and many different people. They are puppies and still learning what they can and can't chew on. They are easy to redirect but remember they are puppies and will go back and chew on it again when not supervised. Violet is more rambunctious tends to get into things more. She will sometimes ignore her name when she knows she's doing things she should not. But like a child when you stand up she stops doing it and runs over to you for love. She has a while V on her nose. She wants to lay next to you when on the sofa or bed, but since she's not allowed on the furniture she will lay her head on your pillow and lean as close as possible. She is more outgoing and inquisitive. She has the Dane hair. Rose is more reserved and a little skittish. She returns often to her people to make sure they are still there when she's playing. She does not go around the people much during the week. She is found close to her sister most of the time when not with her preferred people. She is a people pleaser. She lays at the feet of her preferred people. She has developed more of the Aussie hair texture the last few weeks. Her nose is mostly black with a little touch of white hair by her nose.
