About Tuxedo

Very beautiful and alert male. We have been thru many obedience classes, some agility. Currently he has been attacking an older house dog who is blind & can't hear. Many times drawing blood. As well as un-provoked attacks drawing blood with deep bites, only relenting once I scream bloody murder. He strikes me in rapid succession, usually up to 5 at a time. I believe it's resource guarding and because of personal obligations to elderly family members I dont have resources, time or patience for his behavior. I have used different appro he's and tried to stop him without total satisfaction that he won't do it again. He is very shy of men, loves kids but rambunctious around them till settled, but i would not trust him with children. He Loves to play ball, go for walks and ride in car. He also loves people food, chocolate (luckily even large amounts have not phased him), counter surfing, acts like a rebellious teen when asked to come, back up or stay. A constant challenge which I can't keep up with. I only bought him when I felt very confident i could keep up with his energy etc. And with classes felt he would be great. Agility is out right now because of prevailing health issues I have and unable to get the extra pounds off him. He has been very challenging from the beginning (covid puppy).the breeder kept him in outside kennel with very little human interaction, never been off the farm he was allowed to run when out of pen. We could barely catch him to bring him home. He has attacked me without provocation one too many times and i just dont have enough in me, nor resources to help him be happy enough to stay with me. He Attacks me if I try to pick up the garbage he is guarding, if I try to doctor a hurt foot, dry him with towel, now he only will let me brush him on his terms. The attacks are without warrant to both myself and my old lady, Juni. He will growl at times but if we stay away he doesn't attack. Loves to sleep in footpath in house. I'm allowed to step over him. He knows the command to move, but at times refuses. Juni doesn't dare get near him. For these reasons I must find him another home, hopefully someone where he is only dog and he gets lots of attention. Folks much have experience with the breed and possible aggressive behaviors.
