About Griffin

Looking to find a forever home for our beautiful Great Pyrenees, he is 3yrs 5mo old, approximately 105 lbs . He enjoys our teenage boys and has formed an affectionate bond with them..... I don't know how he is with younger kids. He particularly enjoys playtime and wrestling sessions with our teenagers, our other dog, and the adults as well, showcasing his youthful exuberance and affectionate spirit. Like all Pyrenees, he's an attentive and protective with a vigilant nature, sometimes barking at reflections on windows and mirrors, as if safeguarding the family from these 'intruders'. We have observed signs of resource guarding, primarily of food he might discover around the house, this tendency has not been observed in the past 5 months, suggesting he is improving with this behavior. He loves to be around his people and he also likes to explore, so a spacious fenced yard or ample land would be best for him to roam and exercise. He is crate trained. He has a clean bill of health(we have shot records). He is due for rabies in November 2023. He is currently on Simperica, ensuring he remains protected from fleas, ticks and heartworms.
