About Axel

Axel is the most extraordinary dog ever! He loves hugs and kisses and he loves to be a lapdog! He is a big mama and papa dog and he loves to be with you wherever you are in the house laying on your feet next to your side in the room she wants to be near you. He is about 2 1/2 years old he was found at The old Pearsall Park bike park by A friend of mine Gary. He tried to take him home but his dog was not having it so he brought him to the parasol dog park and I was there and asked if I could foster him until we find him a home that was January 2, 2023. I have five dogs which is fine but it's become too much for my aunt who has Alzheimer's dementia. I am a full-time caretaker and I also have fibromyalgia and MS. I normally take him for walks at the park on Pearsall Road. Lately I have not been able to because I've been so exhausted from being a full-time caretaker and my MS and fibromyalgia acting up. He's very gentle with my aunt but him and my other dogs play really rough and my fear is they're gonna knock her over like they've knocked me over. I have a lab that I've had since he was two months old as well as a shepherd mix I adopted at two months old I have a 14 And a half year-old miniature greyhound and a 7 month Yorky mix. 3 of the dogs have been fostered or adopted this year and one last year. My miniature greyhound I have had since he was two months old. For the most part they all played very well together. Last time I got knocked over it was pretty bad I got bruises down the left side of my body. My MS makes me clumsy anyway I drag my right foot sometimes and fall on my own. So I'm telling you this backstory because making this decision is breaking my heart but he needs a strong person who can run with him on the she loves to run he loves to go on long walks he loves running through the woods he loves car rides he loves being very active he does listen to some commands he is not food aggressive he's very protective over for those he loves which are his owners obsessed with me but he's too strong for me as I get weaker in this moment of my life.
