Hello, I'm Finn. I am a very good dog, but I have severe separation anxiety. I was adopted during COVID and I'm having a hard time adjusting to the world after my daddy had to go back to work. My mommy is chronically ill, and doesn't have the capacity to give me the attention I need. When my daddy is gone during the day I act out. I have torn up his office carpet (I'm sorry!), and peepee on the floor. I am potty trained and only do this when daddy is gone because I just don't know what to do with myself when I am alone :( Mommy and Daddy have tried everything, including medication and training, but they say it's not working. I love my kitties (I have a few!) and I love people, but other dogs also give me anxiety and I get defensive. I know I've told you some bad things about me, but I promise I'm a good boy! I have a heart of gold and want nothing more than attention and love. I enjoy playing outside and am very healthy and otherwise happy. My ONLY issue is my anxiety, and Mommy and Daddy can't help :( I am hoping to find another home and meet some nice people who can give me the attention I need and deserve. This isn't easy for my mommy or daddy, but I love them for trying. Being the center of the universe is tough sometimes. If you are a person who is energetic and can be at home more frequently, can we meet up and play? I need lots of attention and loves, and I have plenty to go around! The 'best boy' (unless daddy isn't around) -Finn
