About Jack

Jack is a very sweet, loyal companion. It pains me to have to put him on here, but he just isn't good around little kids. He tends to want to nip at them and herd them. He is very loyal to everyone in the house but when other kids are around he wants to put them in their place and it's worrisome. I don't recommend him for someone who has children under 12. He is very aggressive towards strangers coming into the house, but I think that issue could be resolved with a little kindness and understanding. He listens very well to the words 'No, stop, nice and outside'. He's treat motivated and eats his food, lounges for most of the day and wants to go for walks, rides, or a brief jog in the evening. He'll want to be with someone when you're home and can lounge around the house for a good 8 hours by himself until you get home. He's also accepting of the cats and when he gets bored and wants to herd them, he listens to the words no and leaves them alone. He's a great, loyal, protective dog with his owners. If I didn't have kids, I'd keep him. I think he'd be best in a home with one gentle male or female owner or a very very gentle couple. The adoption fee goes to the organization.
