Guinness Guinness About 2 year old Australian kelpie mix (rescued from the local shelter so unsure of exact breed) UTD on all vaccines 51 pounds, male Crate trained Neutered We are so sad to do this but unfortunately we have to rehome Guinness. He is a very loving dog. Loves to be by your side, is very smart, loves to cuddle, and gives lots of kisses Lives with another dog and cat. Will chase cats but knows he will be scratched if he gets too close. Knows the commands sit, down, sit pretty, and wait. Walks decent on a leash and learns quickly once corrected. He does not enjoy water or bath time. He's an aggressive chewer and can only play with rough chew toys. Stuffed toys will get destroyed within minutes around him (he won't eat the fluff but they just don't last long so we don't buy them). He enjoys playing with other dogs but does not do great at a large dog park setting. He is best around a solo one on one doggie playdate. Mealtime: we give him food in a slow feeder and wait to give him a command to eat. Is not possessive over his food. He needs a home with a fenced in yard as he is still young and a high energy dog. He loves walks and trying to chase squirrels. He is very protective of the family unit and can show some aggression towards strangers. He has nipped at strangers before (twice) and attempted to bite. I would say he would do best in an adult only home or a home with older kids that can assert dominance towards a dog.
