Greetings! My name is Schmitty, and I am a charming mixed breed dog eager to find my forever home. Though my specific breed is unknown, I could be a mix of a boxer, bulldog, or any other delightful breeds out there. I am presently two years of age, and my weight ranges around 62 pounds. I am an affectionate dog, and my biggest dream is to be a couch potato, snuggling up with my human companion. I love nothing more than to relax and enjoy all the love and attention that I can get. I am an incredibly friendly pooch, and I welcome everyone I meet with a wagging tail - except for other dogs. I prefer to be the only four-legged friend in your life. I have been neutered, and I am up-to-date on all my vaccinations. Furthermore, I have tested negative for both heartworm and Lyme disease, so you can be sure that I am healthy and ready to go. If you adopt me, I would be overjoyed to sleep in your bed with you and keep you warm throughout the night. I am a loyal companion who will be there for you through thick and thin. Thank you for looking at dogs from the Guernsey County Dog Warden Dept. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, we are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (dhpp), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information.
