About Dr. Seuss

Dr Seuss, along with many others, were being fed in a local library parking lot. Its seemed as though this was a place for 'discarding' unwanted pets. It was also a place for unfixed cats to fight over mates and territory. He did not seem to put himself in altercations, was just there to fill his belly. He also aquired a URI from the many sick cats around. It took us awhile, but we boosted his immune system and he is doing well now. Seuss also must have found himself in a scuffle. You see, unfixed males will fight over territory and mates. He tested FIV positive; this is a result of deep bite wounds. Luckily FIV cats can live long healthy lives with minimal immune deficiency as a result. Dr. Seuss is a lover, not a fighter so he can certainly be in a home with negative cats with no issue. He loves to snuggle with other friends! If you happen to be looking for a pair of adult cats, please ask us who his friends are. We would be happy for you to meet all of them!
