Our handsome brindle boy Eli has been with us around 4 months now, and keeping in mind he will be around 9 months old, growing up in rescue is never what we want. Eli originally came to us from GA, after recovering from a terrible case of mange. Since then he has been in an upstate foster home, learning the basics and how to be a good boy. Eli knows sit, come crate and paw - still working on down - he's a little stubborn. We walks ok on leash and is good with dogs, but a little too rambunctious for cats so kitty free is needed. He is now around 50 lbs so not too big! He is past his puppy stage and now entering his 'teen stage' he would love an active family to keep him busy and continue teaching him his 'good boy skills'. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.
